WCC Safe App
WCC Safe is the official safety app of Washtenaw Community College. It is the only app that integrates with Washtenaw Community College’s safety and security systems. Public Safety has worked to develop a unique app that provides students, faculty and staff with added safety on the Washtenaw Community College campus. The app will send you important safety alerts and provide instant access to campus safety resources.
The WCC Safe app is available for free on Apple’s App Store and Google Play.

IACLEA Accreditation
The International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) is the largest professional association devoted to excellence in campus public safety and law enforcement.
Washtenaw Community College Department of Public Safety was awarded Accreditation by the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators with an award date of July 2025. IACLEA accreditation is awarded for a period of four (4) years.
WCC DPS is the first IACLEA accredited agency in the state of Michigan. Currently, fewer than 100 agencies have achieved IACLEA Accreditation….we truly are in a league of our own! IACLEA has 9,000+ memberships, currently filled by 4,000 leaders in campus public safety represented by 1,000+ higher education institutions in 31 countries.
