As a sixth-grade teacher, Carol Osborne inspired a young student named Roger Smith II to serve his country. Fifteen years later, Smith is a veteran student at WCC and Osborne is helping him prepare for his next mission: an engineering career.

Marlene Radzik, who became the Saline Police Department’s first female Police Chief in March 2022, graduated from the police academy at Washtenaw Community College in 1991.
